User testing Session - Final Evaluation

User Evaluation

Once prototype was completed the time of gathering user feedback one last time before submision date came. This time round user were asked to test the website usability as well at its content (linked supplied) without a guidence implement in order to gather best detailed but realistic data. Bothe designer participants and ADHD particionats took part in this round.

In the section below I will be pointing out some of the feedback given and how this could be taken into consideration on the next stage improvements that will taken place after the end of the academic year and once the marking has been completed.

Designer Participants:

"Easy to navigate, understand and read. This tool/guide is something which is seriously underrated right now. Not enough designers in the field considers accesible design and inlcusivity" - Designer participant.

It is safe to say that the main aim of the project which was to bring awareness on inlcusivity and accesibility when designing for groups within cognitive spectrums such as ADHD and ADD is importat. There is still a lot of to do and due to the lack of research in the area. Therefore, this project is all about constact data gathering and improvements.

ADHD Participants:

Overall ADHD participants agreed that the website adhered to their expectaions and at no point distracted them from the main goal. The were able to browse all the way through without required any further explanation from the designer.

"I love the website!Very very well done I shall add. I have joined the forum. I have made a WIX an icon on my Iphone. That's how much I love it." - ADD participant.

The last mintue implementation of the forum showed up positive feedback with already one user signing up and hoping to be able to share their experiences in the future.

" Video summaries are very helpful and refreshing, they aren't very long so even if I lost track of the topic, I could play from the beggining without losing insterest" - ADHD participant

After research gathered for this project I decided to implement videos as and easy way to createa summaries of the topic above it so users were about recap on the content coverd. One of the reseason why in this prototype majority of the summary videos were after the contetn is because we did not want the users and reads to simply skip the summaries as it is also very important information detailed in these post.

It is exciting to see were this prototype develops to and how many designers is it able to influnce for the benefit of inclusive desig for all.
